What is Selfiie?

Selfiie is your personal health record. It pulls together your healthcare information and records from doctors, hospitals and clinics so you can use your data as you wish.

Why should I use Selfiie?

You’ll have all your health records in one place. It's your secure portable health record (PHR). That means better care, fewer surprises, and smarter decisions.

Who can use Selfiie?

Anyone who wants to take ownership of their healthcare data to have them in case of emergency, manage chronic conditions, participate in clinical research, or gain personalized insights to live a healthier life.

How much does it cost?

Selfiie is free, and will stay free even as we improve it. We intend to release certain fee-based advanced features, but you will never have to upgrade from the free version.

What does ‘claiming my Selfiie’ mean?

It means taking control of your health data. When you use Selfiie, the data is always yours to view, share and use as you wish.

How do I sign up?

Go to app.selfiie.com, click “Sign Up,” and follow the steps. To search for your records, you’ll need to verify your identity.

Why do I have to verify my identity?

To protect your data. We use CLEAR to make sure only you can access your healthcare information. And frankly, your healthcare providers insist on proper identification before releasing records to you.

How does CLEAR’s remote ID Verification work?

CLEAR’s remote ID Verification ensures secure access to your Selfiie account by confirming your identity online. The process involves taking a picture of your government-issued ID and capturing a live selfie to match your identity. This ensures that only you can claim your health data and protect your personal information.

What forms of ID will I need for ID Verification?

To complete ID Verification, you will need any one of the following:

  • U.S. Passport (book or card)
  • U.S. State-Issued Driver’s License
  • U.S. State-Issued Identification Card
  • U.S. Permanent Resident Card
  • U.S. Visa
  • International Passport

Make sure the document is current and in good condition for a successful verification.

Does CLEAR store this information?

Yes, CLEAR retains personal information, including biometric data and details from your identification documents, to facilitate and maintain its services. But CLEAR does not retain your medical information. You can request the deletion of your data by contacting CLEAR at memberservice@clearme.com.

What if my identity is not verified by CLEAR or I don’t have an ID?

Contact our support team at support@selfiie.com, we’ll help you find another way to verify. If you experienced a problem with the CLEAR identification you can also contact CLEAR at memberservice@clearme.com.

Where does the healthcare data come from?

From doctors, hospitals and clinics in your area. Selfiie signed contracts with national and regional healthcare information exchanges to gather your comprehensive healthcare records.

What types of health data can I access through Selfiie?

Selfiie gives you control over a wide range of healthcare information, including:

  • Medical history and records from healthcare providers.
  • Lab results and imaging reports.
  • Prescription and medication information.
  • Clinical visit summaries and notes.
  • Vaccination records.
  • Personal uploads, such as scanned documents or photographs of records. (Coming soon)
What if my doctor’s not part of this?

You can upload your records manually or take a photo and send it to your Selfiie. We’ll organize it for you.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use state of the art encryption and our proprietary TripleBlind encryption technology to keep your data private. Selfie adheres to strict data security protocols and is completing its SOC 2 audit in the coming months.

Does Selfiie sell or share my data with third parties?

No, Selfiie does not sell your data to third parties. Any sharing of your information is strictly under your control and is only done with your explicit consent.

Is Selfiie compliant with HIPAA and other privacy regulations?

Yes, Selfiie helps you use your individual right of access contained in HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and other applicable privacy regulations to collect and understand your healthcare information. Our platform is designed to meet the highest standards for data protection and confidentiality, including international privacy laws, such as GDPR, to protect your data across different regions.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. If you delete your account, your comprehensive healthcare record is erased (your doctor or hospital will still have their individual records). If you decide to only deactivate your account, your data will remain secure but inaccessible until you reactivate it. You can also download and keep your records separate.

Can I use this for my kids or parents?

Yes, as long as you have the right paperwork (like power of attorney or guardianship).

Will I see everything in my medical record?

We show you everything we get—but not every provider shares the same amount of data. What you see depends on who’s connected.

Can I share my info with doctors or caregivers?

Yes. You choose what to share, who to share it with, and for how long. You can stop sharing anytime.

What if something looks wrong?

Please let us know by emailing us at support@selfiie.com. We can’t change your underlying healthcare records but can help you reach out to the provider who created the record.

How do I deactivate or delete my account?

You can delete your data from your Selfiie account:

  • Open the Menu in the top left corner of the application
  • In this Menu there is an option to “Delete Data”
  • After selecting “Delete Data” the next page will ask you to confirm if you want to delete all of your health data from Selfiie and to revoke your consent for Selfiie to search for your health data on your behalf.
  • Once confirmed it will take a few minutes to complete the deletion.
  • Your account will still exist, you can still login with your provided credentials, but you would need to verify your identity with Clear again and confirm consent to search for your data again.
  • If you wish to completely remove your account, contact Selfiie Support at support@selfiie.com

Note: If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Ensure you have downloaded any necessary records before proceeding. If you need assistance or have concerns about deleting your account, reach out to Selfiie’s support team.
